I’ve always been a photograph-artist because I see the world in frames and metaphor, but I didn’t start taking pictures until my forties. I am now a mass producer of self-expression.
My approach is spontaneous, speaks to the place in the picture, and what is on my mind in that moment. My style is versatile – literary/narrative, expressive/documentary/autobiographical. The image titles I compose are as important to me as the picture; they are synergetic. East Sussex landscapes are my lightning rods for inspiration.
Everything I know so far about photography I have learnt via social media.
