My images may seem simple, but nothing in life is ever simple. These suggest larger moments, larger stories. Without extraneous details, stories can be filled in by the viewer.

I worked in the media for many years as a producer in Radio and Television, then as a freelance journalist writing for the broadsheets – the Financial Times, The Times, The Guardian. I have written books on Ansel Adams and Georgia O’Keefe and abridge Book at Bedtime and Book of the Week for BBC Radio 4. I also write for PhotoHastings Ezine.
