Justine Devenney

Photographer working across Sussex and beyond. Justine has a particular fondness for capturing the melancholy or humorous moment and experimentation with shadow work. She has recently completed an extensive photographic project on the problematic nature of seaside nostalgia. Justine works at the University of Brighton and at Farley Farmhouse – home of Photographer Lee Miller and Artist Roland Penrose. Justine holds a MA in Photography History, Theory and Practice with Distinction from University of Sussex.
