James White enjoys combining old with new. On a surface level, its vintage lenses on modern cameras, peculiar lens filters and a distinct wardrobe of 1930’s fashion. Dig a bit deeper and you’ll see that James has access to a vast collection of archive imagery of our town. A new project is on the horizon which blends the early images of Fred Judge with the town 100 years later.
Rich colours, wide apertures and old glass is what excites James. Present him with a unique brief and he’s all yours.
