Picnic will be opening on 19 March, save the date!
Picnic will be opening their doors on Saturday 19 March, we’re hoping people will be able to pop by, if not on Saturday then in the following days and weeks to experience our new photo-book reference library for themselves. We’re very much looking forward to meeting people in person.
Following our call for help in January we’ve had lots of volunteers contact us to help in the photo-book library, and with our imminent opening date we’re in the process of getting back to people. We’ve had a huge influx of people taking our community poll and all book donations have been very welcome. If you have a photo-book you’d like to donate, bring it along and see what we’re doing.
Have You seen the Picnic raffle on Instagram?
All the money raised from these raffles is going towards making photography more accessible to the community whether it’s through the reference library, future events, or workshops! Prizes are prints, books and more. To date prizes have been donated by: @oli_kellett and @almahaser
Raffle tickets are £1 each and collected as a PayPal “friends and family” donation, enter as many times as you want. The winner will be drawn at the end of every three weeks and contacted via the email address associated with their PayPal payment so if you use a different email, please send us a note letting us know. The raffle is for UK entrants only and we will post the work to the winner at our own cost or if you’re local you can come pick up your prize from us in St. Leonards!
If you haven’t already, please follow us on Instagram and join our mailing list @picnic_on_sea.
