PhotoHastings 2023

Taking place throughout September, October and into November, since 2010.

Our 2023 photo season is now at an end, and what a roller coaster it has been. We decided to extend our annual October photo season into September this year as it coincides with Coastal Currents and the Turner Prize at Towner in Eastbourne.

Over two months we have supported 25 different solo exhibitions, and 9 themed, collaborative exhibitions. We have explored performance and experimental short film as well as presenting 5 photo talks in a pub. We have supported 2 artist residencies and worked with an independent curator presenting a themed open call exhibition, attracting local and out of town artists alike to take part in the festival.
