PhotoHastings 2023

Taking place throughout September, October and into November, since 2010.

We decided to extend our annual October photo season into September this year as it coincides with Coastal Currents and the Turner Prize at Towner in Eastbourne. There will be a larger footfall of people visiting the area and it’s a good opportunity to promote contemporary photography in the area. We are currently working on a detailed listing with images and online galleries, in the meantime we present our program as a text listing.

To stay in touch with all our events please subscribe to our newsletters and ezine, and we hope that you get to see some of the inspiring photography that makes up the PhotoHastings season.

PhotoHastings will be in Gallery One, upstairs in The Mews with 8 independent rooms for showing our members and friends work, we will be changing exhibitions every 2 weeks with an open evening to celebrate each new installation. Our residency forms part of the new owners generous free opening of spaces in The Mews, for artists and makers this year. We are excited by the potential of the space and to be a part of this new endeavour.
