Memoriam: From Hastings

I am happy to tell you that on Wednesday evening Sid was shown a
panorama photograph of his exhibition taken by Danny Mooney and

Harry Lyons. Chairman."
Sid's art touched many people, from
his natural habitat on the beach to the gallery wall. As a committed
volunteer at HAF, Sid hung most of their exhibitions (fluently and
very quickly). He was brilliant at coaxing the very best out of

Reviews 1: Grace Lau writes: "There is a need for
some portfolio review/crit sessions in Hastings. Brighton has many
of these going, but nothing here. So I have decided to set up a
Photo Forum for photographers with work-in-progress to bring their
works along for group crits/suggestions/comments... The first one
will be at my house one evening for end-April, for about 5 photographers.
Wine and nibbles will be provided. If that is successful, we can
swap places and photographers for the next month, and just keep
it going up to the Festival. So if you know anyone that would like
to participate, please ask them to email me (gl@gracelau.plus.com)."
